Mehrdad Khataei, Born in Tabriz, Iran, 1976. He got his M.A. Fine Art from the Azad University of Tehran, 2001. Mehrdad Khataei has started teaching at the University of Tehran since 2001. He founded the first Printmaking studio at the University of Tehran. He was the first artist who could prove the Iranian printmaking place, by participating in many international biennials. His artworks have been shown in numerous national and international biennials, exhibitions and are held in the collections of Library of Congress, Washington, DC (USA) – Tama Art University Museum, Tokyo (Japan) – International Biennale of Graphic Art Łódź (Poland) – Museum of Printmaking, Acqui Terme (Italy), etc. In which he achieved international prizes.
