Kambiz Derambakhsh born in 1942, IRAN. He studied fine arts in Tehran fine arts facutly. Kambiz has been publishing his cartoons and caricatures in many well-known local and international newspapers and magazines for mor than 60 years. He won grand prizes and gold medals of Japan, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Belguim, Turkey, Brazil, Yugoslavia and so many other exhibitions. Internationally, many arts centres, arts galleries and cultural-arts museums have bought his artworks: Basel Caricature Museum in Switzerland, Gabrovo House of Cartoons in Bulgaria, Tehran Contemporary Arts Museum, Academy of Arts, National Library, Saba House, Iranian Graphic Syndicate, Avignon Museum, Warsow cartoon  Museum, Frankfurt Municipality, and etc. Kambiz Derambakhsh has published many books on illustration and caricature in Iran and abroad such as: No Comments (Iran), Angels dairy (Iran), Kambiz’s Book (Italy), Contemporary satirists of Iran (Iran, Italy and Austria), Olympic of Laughing (Iran), Had Da-vinci Seen Me (Iran), Symphony of Lines (Iran), Don’t harass the hard-working Ants (Iran), The Black Miniature (Iran), The Spectacular Storis (Iran), he has some other books to be published in near future. He has also been a member of jury panel for a number of international cartoons exhibitions. He organaized as many as 50 individual and collective exhibitions in Iran and abroad and has been teaching cartooning at Tehran University.
