Mehri Tavasouni is an Iranian artist. She was born in 1979 in Iran. After completing her college studies in graphic design, she studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Tehran.
She continued her studies in France and obtained the bachelor’s degree in visual art and the color master at the University of Strasbourg.
Doing a coloristic mission, she created a color chart for “Keim mineral paint” France.
Since returning to Iran in 2010, she has taught at several universities, including the Tehran Art University.
During these years, she also had individual and collective exhibitions in Tehran, like the “The Earth from above”2012, “Fine arts corridor” 2012, “1001 plates”2016, “unachievable” 2018, “Exudation” 2019.
For her personal interest, she also created collections of clothes and accessory like “butterfly”,
a collection of clothing design and she also been a costume designer and consultant for certain theaters in Tehran.
